Biography
Dr. Milana Dolezal has been practicing at PHOA/Pacific Hematology Oncology in San Francisco since January 2018 with subspecialty in breast cancer. She also serves as Director of Cancer Survivorship and Supportive services in that role.
Before her transition to San Francisco, she practiced in the east bay at the Comprehensive Cancer Center and she served as the medical director for cancer clinical trials. She is an advocate of personalized medicine with targeted cancer therapies. Prior to her work with Sutter, Dr. Dolezal was an assistant medical director and clinical scientist in BioOncology Therapeutics at Genentech, where she worked on late-stage and early-phase first-in-human clinical trials with targeted cancer therapies based on the science of cancer signaling pathways. She also worked at the Stanford School of Medicine in the breast cancer clinic while at Genentech, as she has a special interest in women's malignancies.
Her outside interests include triathlons, and she is a former sponsored competitive triathlete/ Ironman finisher. She is also an avid cyclist who rode across the USA from L.A. to D.C. with Lance Armstrong and the first Tour of Hope team to raise awareness about cancer clinical trials.
